Upton’s design harkens back to late 1940s France, when conical lamps became popular and the mid-century modern style began to take shape. Its heavy, faceted arms are cast in brass, and its shade’s alabaster is hand-cut. A heavy stepped back furthers Upton’s sense of understated luxury.
